Golang Job: (Senior) Backend developer

You’ll be part of the Easy Merchant Onboarding and Servicing department within our business unit Merchant Services. You will actively participate on building a new team with the focus on internal tooling, especially focusing the merchant servicing processes.

As a Backend Developer you’ll join an open and sharing community with highly skilled colleagues. Besides creating the best merchant experience ever, your key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Innovation and development of the Easy merchant servicing solutions
• Close collaboration with the Frontend Developers, our Product Owner, Scrum Master, Architects and the Tech Lead from the team
• Participate in Architectural decisions
• Contribution to innovating and developing products and processes
• Supporting maintenance and management of IT operations

You’ll work with a modern tech stack in languages, frameworks, and technologies such as Spring Boot, MongoDB, MariaDB, event sourcing (RabbitMQ) and Docker containerization technology in addition to various Azure cloud services. Within your role you will always be looking for the best tool for the job and not otherwise.

Must include:

• High proficiency and experience with Java back-end development
• Knowledge of Docker (or similar) containerization technology
• (Azure) cloud ready mindset for native cloud development

Nice to have:

• Experience with .Net development
• Experience with developing portal solutions, and knowledge of other programming and scripting languages (node.js, golang, python, etc..)
• Experience with internal customer communication
